Mini Style Muses: Paloma Sol & Cherry Louise

At Mini Style, we love discovering the little muses who inspire everyday creativity and style — and this week we’re so excited to introduce you to Paloma Sol (5) and Cherry Louise (19 months). These two sisters have become daily style inspirations for their mom, Heather (@heathertequiere), and for us, too.

Heather shared that much of their family’s style inspiration began with Paloma, who from a very young age developed a natural gift for pairing colors and patterns in ways even her mom wouldn’t have imagined. “After having her in 2020, which was such a scary, isolating time, I felt a pull to fill her wardrobe with playful colors and patterns that immediately sparked joy,” Heather explains. “I was seeing a lot of sad beige and pastels in children’s clothes then, so I started collecting vintage pieces and thrifting for treasures.”

That love for bold, one-of-a-kind style has carried through the years. The girls now mostly dress themselves, often choosing from a mix of vintage finds and pieces from small/local brands like All Small Co., Little Lawless, Milkteeth, and Mmoodykids. Heather says she still tries to keep secondhand shopping in the mix, but the focus is always on cool, unique pieces that spark joy and give her girls the freedom to express themselves.

“They inspire me daily :)” Heather shares. And we couldn’t agree more.
