Mini Spotlight: Pompon Cucu

After fourteen wonderful years spent bringing children’s bedrooms to life, Marine, the founder of Pompon Cucu, felt the pull of a new creative adventure: accessories.
It all started with a very special idea. After three years of dressing and adorning her son’s little head, she finally sketched and hand-crafted a tiny poetic piece, born from two deep loves: the sea and her baby.
That first creation quickly became the brand’s signature accessory and its most iconic symbol: the little sailor hat for toddlers.
From there, the universe grew. Marine introduced the boat hat, inspired by the childhood magic of folded paper boats, and then the pointed fabric hats, playful, party-like pieces made to celebrate the moments you want to remember and bring back out year after year.
Pompon Cucu is a bit like the strawberry milk of childhood: a soft, comforting classic with a joyful twist.
Each hat begins its life in a French workshop, crafted by skilled seamstresses, because making a hat is a genuine art. Then every piece is lovingly adorned and finished by Marine herself in her Paris studio.
This is the story, the savoir-faire, and the soul we wanted to share with you, through collections that are unique, simple, and crafted in small, heartfelt quantities.
For anyone who loves whimsical, made-in-France accessories with a heartwarming story, Pompon Cucu is well worth exploring. Check out their full catalog here: Pompon Cucu .
